At Foreseeson Technology, the integrity of our manufacturing starts in the stockroom. We are seeking a meticulous and organized Material Coordinator to manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of electronic components within our facility.
This role is critical to maintaining an uninterrupted production flow. You will be responsible for preparing precise production kits, enforcing strict handling protocols for sensitive electronic parts, and maintaining absolute accuracy in our inventory systems. The ideal candidate brings warehouse experience, champions 5S workplace organization, and possesses a sharp attention to detail when handling high-value electronic materials.

Core Accountabilities
- ● Inventory Integrity: Ensure absolute accuracy of inventory quantities and part numbers at all times.
- ● Safe Handling: Guarantee the safe handling and storage of inventory items between receiving, the stockroom, material kitting, and production transfer points.
- ● Moisture Sensitivity Compliance: Process all MSL (Moisture Sensitivity Level) rated parts strictly in accordance with J-STD-033 standards to properly store or bake the components.
- ● ESD Safety: Enforce full Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safety protocols for the material storage and handling of all electronic parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Organization & Kitting (5S Focus)
- ● Maintain a highly organized stockroom in strict accordance with 5S principles.
- ● Embrace 5S principles when handling and moving inventory into production kits.
- ● Prepare kits of electronic components and materials according to the daily production schedule, ensuring all necessary parts are included and quantities are exact.
- ● Clearly label inventory parts and kits, utilizing barcodes wherever possible for maximum ease and accuracy.
- ● Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring optimal storage conditions for components.
- Receiving & Inventory Control
- ● Load, unload, and thoroughly inspect incoming shipments of electronic components and materials.
- ● Count and verify the accuracy of shipment contents against purchase orders and packing lists.
- ● Document any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders (Purchasing, Planning, Quality Assurance) to resolve them.
- ● Count inventory parts to ensure quantitative accuracy at various control points: entering the stockroom, during kitting, returning from production, and during cycle counts of slow-moving items.
- ● Ensure all paperwork accurately reflects the true inventory part numbers and quantities being transferred between locations.
- ● Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing department to reorder materials and prevent shortages.
- Material Handling & Safety
- ● Demonstrate a clear understanding of material handling safety requirements for electronic components sensitive to ESD, moisture/humidity, bright light, temperature variations, or mechanical shock.
- ● Bake, label, and securely store received items in designated inventory locations.
- ● Communicate effectively with production and engineering teams to address any material shortages or discrepancies.
- Note: May be assigned to support other sections/departments as production needs dictate.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education & Experience
- ● Community College Business or Material Handling diploma, OR a minimum of 2+ years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- ● Previous experience in an electronics manufacturing environment, particularly in receiving and kitting roles, is highly preferred.
- Skills & Abilities
- ● Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- ● Ability to accurately read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production orders.
- ● Familiarity with electronic components, ESD safety protocols, and MSL handling procedures.
- ● Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook, with proficiency in using ERP/inventory management software (experience with Odoo is a distinct advantage).
- ● Physical Capability: Ability to safely lift and move materials as required in a warehouse environment.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Success
- * Inventory Accuracy: Maintain >99% accuracy rate during routine cycle counts and end-of-month inventory audits.
- * Kitting Precision: Zero production delays caused by missing, incorrect, or improperly labeled parts in issued kits.
- * Compliance & Safety: 100% adherence to ESD and J-STD-033 (MSL) handling protocols, with zero component failures attributed to improper storage or baking.
- * Receiving Efficiency: All incoming shipments verified, received in the ERP system, and physically located within 24 hours of dock arrival.
- * 5S Audit Score: Consistently achieve a passing score (e.g., >90%) on routine 5S workplace organization audits in the stockroom and kitting areas.
